In my oil paintings, I dive deep into each zodiac sign — exploring not only its ruling planet but also the flower associated with it.
Whether you actively believe in astrology or not, everyone has a zodiac sign. What’s your sign?
Just like each sign reveals new layers the more you explore it, my paintings are also built up in layers. To create the planets, I’ve used imagery
from NASA — allowing astronomy and astrology to meet in my work. These two worlds were once closely connected, though now often seen as separate.
I work with oil paints, blending abstract backgrounds with realism. Each painting begins with a digital sketch, where I experiment with composition and color.
But once I start working on the canvas, I often make changes along the way. At times, I use very fine brushes — and when I’m immersed in the tiny details,
I lose all sense of time and space, completely absorbed in the painting I’m working on.
